Crestridge Road

This was our second full-house, down-to-the-studs renovation in under a decade and we well knew how stressful and frustrating the whole process can be. John at Maycliff Homes made this project as pleasant as a large project will ever likely be.  From the outset, John maintained very close contact with the architects so there were rarely any surprises. On the odd occasion where there were issues, he was quick to identify them, propose solutions and, in the case where changes needed to be made, provide us with several alternatives, at various price points, to help us understand our options and to stay on budget. The thoroughness, attention to detail and communication was the best we have experienced from any contractor on any project we have done.  As an example, a delay in the door system that makes up the bulk of the back of the house threatened to put the project 6+ weeks delayed. The construction schedule needed those parts to continue with other parts of the project. John let us know and quickly set about reworking the construction schedule so that work could continue in other areas, minimizing any delays in the overall project.  
 

We could not be happier with our house. The quality of workmanship is on display everywhere. John assembled a fantastic team of subcontractors, many of whom we continue to reach out to for small projects. My Uncle, who is a master woodworker and cabinet maker, visited shortly after we moved in and was floored by the attention to detail in the house and the quality of the construction.  After several years in the house, there is almost nothing we would change or do differently, which is a testament to both the final product and the experience we had with Maycliff.  We would highly recommend John and his team for any project.
