10th STREET

We recently completed a major renovation to our house. Our project included gutting the existing first floor and adding a second floor.  Maycliff Homes was the Contractor of Record, and John Mehling was the Site Supervisor.  Our project was a major investment for us, and it was a very complex design.  John did an excellent job.  He was always on-site, coordinated well with a variety of good contractors, and worked through the inevitable issues that come with a project of this scale.

Our house turned out fantastic!  As you walk in through the front door there is a tall living room ceiling and pocket doors that open onto the deck and back yard.  The indoor-outdoor feeling is one of the best we’ve seen.  This was a complicated feat, with steel beams supplementing the standard framing.  John oversaw this difficult construction. I’ve been told numerous times the quality of work was obvious during all phases of construction and finish.

John worked closely with the Architects, helping bring a sophisticated vision to life.  He has a broad network of subcontractors, one of the keys to a successful project.  He was always able to keep our project moving forward, while maintaining quality.  He worked well with the city, and he was a pleasure to work with as owners.  I recommend John, and Maycliff Homes for your construction projects.
